The Lao Association of Ontario was incorporated in 1980 as a non-profit and charitable organization. We are governed by a voluntary Board of Directors elected by membership at an Annual General Meeting.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower and uplift Lao immigrants in Ontario by offering comprehensive support and services. We strive to enhance their integration into Canadian society by facilitating access to vital programs and resources. Through fostering information exchange within Lao communities and beyond, we aim to promote mutual understanding and racial harmony. By preserving and sharing our vibrant culture and heritage, we work towards fostering a sense of pride and unity.
